Whitening

ozomozobeforeafter
We can safely whiten teeth in several ways. For patients who want immediate results, we use the latest technology offered by the Zoom!® Advanced Power™ Lamp. This in-office supervised technique takes about 90 minutes. An alternative proven whitening procedure utilizes custom whitening trays, which are typically worn at night for about two weeks. Both procedures offer long-lasting results depending on the patient’s lifestyle and diet.

Cerac CAD/CAM

Dr. Mallow uses CEREC technology so you can be in and out in a single visit with a permanent, all ceramic crown, onlay, or veneer! For you, the dental patient, this means fewer injections, less drilling, and less time out of your hectic schedule for dental care. Most dental restorative methods require more than one visit to the dentist.  This means that on the first visit, you get an injection of local anesthesia, your tooth is prepared, an impression taken, and a temporary restoration put on your tooth. You make a second appointment for a couple of weeks later, get another injection and have a permanent restoration put on. Why go to the dentist a second time when you don’t have to? With CEREC, the procedure is done in a single appointment, start to finish.

Digital Radiographs

radioDigital radiography produces filmless images. Digital radiography is an important part of a thorough dental examination giving a broad overview of the entire bony structure of the teeth and face.  It takes a much wider area than any intra oral film showing structures outside of their range.  It shows many pathological structures such as bony tumors and cysts as well as the position of the wisdom teeth.  With benefits of image quality, instant exposure, zero use of chemicals or darkrooms, archival ability, reproducible, and colleague communication, this form of digital radiography will enhance all aspects of your practice and patient experience.
